Presidential Election Blog Poll
Blog Poll #29 is now online in the left-hand column of this site. This poll is concerning your choice for President of the United States. The poll will close on Tuesday night, November 4, 2008.
This is certainly not a scientific poll because all ages and non-US residents are able to cast votes. It's just interesting and fun to measure the thoughts of Walking With The Giant blog readers.
Previous polls and results can be read on this site by clicking "Blog Poll" in the list of categories in the left-hand column.

We are Christians before we are republicans or democrats!
I'm afraid that poll results might sway undecided voters--the bandwagon effect. I just pray that Christians will submit to their duty to vote for those most adamant about upholding God's laws. And to me, who those candidates are is glaringly obvious. So far, they all seem to be Republicans.

I was enjoying following the election, because I enjoy that kind of stuff. I'm no longer enjoying following the election. It has gotten pretty nasty. It is my conviction in the words of Rick Warren we must learn to disagree with civility. I was at a Christian function when a speaker make a comment about a "real President." When the election is over the winner will become the real president. I agree with earlier post, we are Christian first. They are Christian on the left and the right. If we could walk in other shoes maybe we understand some just have different world views. We must come together when all this is over. I always taken all yard signs and stickers off my car just as soon as the election is over. It is my conviction there is not a true conservative Christian at top of either ticket. I voted other in this poll. I can pull qoutes from top conservative Christian leaders who said they could not vote for either candiate under any circumstance. Only the message of the cross and Jesus can truly change this country and world. JESUS IS REAL CHANGE.
What a Christian believes is invariably linked to the God he serves and the Christ he loves. By extension, this is invariably linked to how he votes.
Tossing the signs and pulling off the stickers after an election does not mean you stop believing in the principles that caused you to put them up in the first place.
I do not vote out of convenience, and I surely don't "come together as soon as the election is over" out of convenience. If I hold to deeply ingrained principles when I vote, those don't stop being deeply ingrained after election day.
That is, unless your voting with your wallet and the winds of opinion that change like leaves on a tree.
The economy changes. The values of Christ and the Bible do not.
I give a hearty "Amen!" to the previous comment.
I do not stop believing in my principles simply because I pull off stickers and take down signs. I to agree with the comments of christianworld view.
