Walking JOY Boxes

Monday night, the James Croft Evangelistic Association was represented in the annual lighted Lake City Christmas Parade. We joined forces with First Baptist Church of Olustee and had "Walking JOY Boxes" following the church's float in the parade. The "presents" passed out flyers about the JCEA JOY Box Ministry to the adults and JOY Box stickers to the children. It was a cold night and a long walk, but I think everyone had a great time.

I want to thank Pastor Mike Williams and the volunteers of First Baptist Church of Olustee for allowing us to participate with their float. I also want to thank my sister, Melissa Ring, for her assistance with capturing the event on video along the parade route.

Another reason this event was so exciting for me is volunteers from various churches assisted. We can do much more in furthering the Kingdom of God when we join forces. Unfortunately, so many churches have become so "busy", they don't have time to minister outside of their own programs. Here are the churches that were represented by all of our volunteers:

Here are some photos from the parade, by Jon M. Fletcher, for you to enjoy.
