Cowboys and cowgirls from Tallahassee moseyed on over to Meggs' Barn yesterday for the kick-off of Saddle Ridge Ranch Vacation Bible School. The event, with a western theme, is held on the farm of Chapel Hill Baptist Church Deacon Willie Meggs (pictured with Evangelist James Croft), who is also the Leon County States Attorney. The horse barn is the perfect setting for the cowpokes to make western crafts, eat some good vittles, play some rip-roaring games and learn new songs All this week we'll be roundin' up questions and drivin' home answers as we study God's word with Evangelist James Croft. The Bible school continues daily through Friday from 10am-noon for young'uns pre-k to 5th grade. Meggs' Barn is located off Riverton Road in Tallahassee, Florida.
