I had a last-minute call to preach a youth service last night at
Forest Grove Baptist Church near Alachua, Florida. The youth were involved in a week of public ministry projects called "Project Give". The ministries included building a wheelchair ramp at a home and conducting a Vacation Bible School in a low-income neighborhood. It was great listening to the testimonies of the participants. I challenged them from
Matthew 28:16-20 to individually continue doing their part in carrying out the Great Commission after the week of projects have ended.
My friend, and Forest Grove Youth Minister,
Mark Spradley has a heart for missions and leads the youth to opportunities for service. He is leading a group to Alaska next week for World Changers. Please pray for their travel, health and service.
