Awana program unites children, inmate dads at Louisiana prison

Hundreds of inmates in one Louisiana prison will have a chance to spend a weekend with their children, as part of a program by Awana Clubs International.

This weekend, 1,100 children will spend time with their dads who are inmates at Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola. It is all part of a joint effort between the prison and Awana Clubs, an international children and youth ministry based in Chicago.
