JCEA Board Member Called To New Church

Terry D. Elixson, pastor of First Baptist Church of Winter Springs, Florida has been called as pastor of New Oak Grove Baptist Church near Alachua, Florida. It was a unanimous decision by the church to call him beginning Sunday, October 7th. Terry served FBC Winter Springs for almost three years. He has also pastored Attapulgus Baptist Church in Attapulgus, Georgia. Terry and his wife, Penny, were raised in Lake Butler, Florida and they have four children. Prior to his call to the ministry, he served in Sardis Baptist Church in Worthington Springs, Florida.

Terry serves as a member of the board of directors of James Croft Evangelistic Association. I hope you will all join me in praying for Terry and his family as they make the move to New Oak Grove Baptist. Also, pray for FBC Winter Springs as they now begin the search for a pastor.
