Cross off Starke's water tower

The City of Starke (Florida) is prohibited from placing a Christian cross on its municipal water tower, a federal judge in Jacksonville has ruled.

In a decision this week, Senior U.S. District Judge John H. Moore II said the lighted cross, which had been on top of the structure since the 1970s, violated the federal and Florida constitutions by endorsing religion.

Note: We should be in prayer for the man that initiated this action, that he would be saved, but we should also pray for those that claim to be Christians and yet make verbal and physical threats.
