Objective: Display of national motto in America's cities

In response, she set to work to get the motto displayed in Bakersfield City Council chambers. After finding success there, the campaign spread to cities throughout California -- such as Carson City, Ridgecrest, Shafter, Sonora, and Paso Robles.

Now Sullivan, who is running for her fourth term to the Bakersfield City Council, is looking to expand the movement and is spearheading a campaign to get the national motto displayed in council chambers nationwide.
