Trustees to consider posting 'In God We Trust' in schools

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A California pastor who also is a trustee in the Kern High School District wants to tack up posters in all classrooms bearing the national motto "In God We Trust."

The Reverend Chad Vegas, founder of Sovereign Grace church in Bakersfield, says the posters are meant to inspire patriotism, not inculcate religious beliefs among students.
